Excited to meet Brian Segal tomorrow! I have my suit ready and all... Now, I need to get the questions ready. Am reading the book "Relentless", the autobiography of Ted Rogers right now. I understand that he is a very friendly person and is a great mentor for future business leaders. Shall do my best to make the most of this event. This is the big advantage of studying at the Ted Rogers School. You get to network with the biggies from Rogers Inc.
Will complete soon...
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.

MBA classes start tomorrow!
Tomorrow, Monday, 13th September, 2010 is the day when thousands of students head back to University all across Canada. Like every single one of them, I am pretty excited too!
A Western education is a dream come true for me. And getting a Master's degree had been high on my priority list since quite a while now.

Excel workshop on 8th Sep, 2010.
There was a Excel workshop organized for 8th Sep. Unfortunately, I missed this workshop. But will post the details soon. Will try to maintain a log of all events of the TRSM MBA here.
Classes on Sep 7th, 2010
There were 2 classes on 7th September, 2010:-
(1) Introduction to Accounting - by Barbara Wilkes
Accounting & book keeping is a must for every MBA. Have to go through the grind. But I like it, though.
(2) Introduction to Economics - by Jim Tiessen
This was a very interesting class for me. God I LOVE Economics! This was very new for me. Even though I do read the newspapers on a regular basis, I do not have a commerce background. Hope to learn with time. But with good teachers like Prof. Jim, I hope to learn and pick up stuff fast.
