This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.

The Fall 2011 batch is here... And boy, are they good!
Very impressed after meeting the new students from the incoming batch. There are 2 courses that I am taking with the new batch (MB8107 and MB8108). Lots of young and intelligent students. A lot more diversity this time. A nice mix. Enthusiastic, energetic and confident... Way to go, TRSM!
Purchased used books from Chapters Indigo website - Finally!
Created a Chapters Indigo account (actually, I had one previously). Searched for the text books I need for this term. Found a new book and few used books at less than 1/2 price. Payment options: Interac or Credit card. Sweet!!!
It is a pity that text books are sooooo expensive (more than 150 to 200 a piece when new). Also interesting that the moment you purchase a book, the value drops to 50% if you try to sell it back to the same shop!
So I guess I am almost set for this semester with regards to text books. Book hunting is a engaging activity and time consuming in itself. What a relief!
