This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.

#Culture
"The collective programming of the mind that distinguishes the members of one category of people from another".
Bottom-line: It is all in the mind. Change / Adaptation is possible. One can learn new cultures and try to become a part of it.
#Marketing: Early adopter pitfalls:
Price comes down later
More bugs fixed later on
Sequel model shall be out soon
Tech may become obsolete
It may be just hype, not substance.

#Economics: Q: How to make employers / consumers / people shift towards you?
A: Offer higher Marginal Utility per $, by increasing their utility and delivering more value at the same price / cost.
