Doing Business Research: A guide to Theory and Practice.
By Nick Lee
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.

Choice in MBA course electives creates confusion!
When it came to finalizing course electives, I changed my mind a few times before finalizing on my electives. And I thought that I was being silly.... until I found out that a lor of my classmates made changes to their elective courses many more times than me :)))
Choice creates confusion. And I have no disrespect for people who change their minds. I just call it Dynamic thinking - constant evaluation and re-evaluation of priorities and making new decisions based on the latest information, situation and experiences each time :)))

I never sell my MBA text books after the term.
A lot of people I know sell their text books after they complete the term. But I do not have that habit. Yes, the books depreciate in monetary value with time, but knowledgewise, they are priceless and never lose value for me!
My books become a part of me and stay with me. I do try to go back to my books and read them from time to time. After all, Business is an adopted field for me, my original field being Medicine. I have to constantly keep referring to them and refresh my basics and build on what I already know...
And before you contact me to lend me my book, I do not lend my books either. My books are my babies and you do not share your babies :)
