- Even the unsinkable can sink
- Always be realistic and prepare for the worst
- Being overly ambitious increases risk
- Icebergs are only 1/7th above water
- Big ships take more time to steer
- Slow down and Turn is the natural decision under stress and it is the wrong decision
- It is impossible to control the mass in panic mode
- When a ship is certain to sink, abandon it with all haste
- Search and take care of the survivors
- Figure out what went wrong to not repeat them again
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.
