Creating Big Results by Small, Thoughtful Actions

From the link: http://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20121220192325-101213441-think-small-win-big

Here are some interesting thoughts about creating big businesses by thinking small.
  1. Ride the horse in the direction that it is running. What is working? Make it better...
  2. Where is the customer's pain? Solve that pain
  3. Who needs this? You will (if only you know how useful it will be). Create demand in new segments
  4. If it ain't broke, break it yourself. This is basically kicking the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" on its arse. Basically, industry disruption may be essential for progress.
  5. Look left and right before you cross. Pay attention to adjacent markets.
Wonerful, innit? Do read the complete article from the link above. It is most certainly worth your time.
