Q: What is the most important aspect of the application / bottle neck for new applicants?
A: Determine the total number of hours you've performed business analysis work on that project. In order to be eligible to sit for the CBAP, you will need a total of 7500 hours of business analysis experience. Meaning in any given project, if you've worked 1000 hours total, and only 25% of this time was allocated to business analysis activities, then you can only use 250 hours to apply toward your eligibility.
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.
