Hypothesis: Sustained, meteoric growth in emerging economies may no longer be possible? BRICS countries in trouble?

Please read the very interesting article at the link above. The author puts forward a hypothesis that BRICS countries may not sustain the type of growth they had in the past decade for ever... Possible reasons being:

  1. The rise of automation (reduce jobs available to humans)
  2. Global supply sources (taking away local jobs)
  3. Wider economic gaps (as compared to developed nations)
  4. Aging population with declining birth rates in some countries
