I do not know if this happens to you. But it happens to me sometimes.
When you are faced with an assignment and there is a LOT to do in a short time, sometimes, you become super efficient and finish them all very quickly. But sometimes, you have brain INERTIA or brain FREEZE. It is as if your brain is frozen and can not think fast. This happens especially if you have been working looong hours without rest or sleep. (Ask MBA students about working long hours without sleep, LOL - very familiar to us :)
So just wanted to put it out there - Brain freeze or inertia... an MBA phenomenon :)
(Ok, I know this must happen to students from other disciplines, too :)

This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.
