Battling Digital Distraction in the MBA Classroom and at Home while pursuing Business education

From the link: http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/education/article/1282225--york-university-prof-enlists-student-snitches-to-battle-digital-distraction

Digital Distraction is REAL. We are now living in a virtual world as much as in the real world.

MBA classrooms / students are affected by distractions all the time. So what distracts students?
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • News
  • Entertainment channels
  • YouTube
  • Email
  • Blogs
Professor Kim from Schulich School of Business found a way to solve this problem, by asking his classmates to spy on each other and report others (when asked) about digital distraction. I like the idea. This is a way to improve transparency and accountability. This is a way to encourage WHISTLE BLOWING among MBA students for the future, ha ha.

Cheers,
Gerry.
