This is an example:

Hurricane Sandy's destruction in the East Coast of USA ---> Need to repair and rebuild ---> Need for wood (cheap and good quality) ---> Need to import wood from Canada ---> Increased sales for Canadian wood industry.

If the businesses in Canada are not prepared, they may not be ready to provide the requisite wood. This is why it is important to be business savvy.
