- Number crunching (Quantitative Analysis) may be a PITA (Pain In The Arse), but it is MITB (Money In The Bank). If you can crunch numbers, people will seek you.
- Be decisive. Be quick to get in and quick to get out - timing is everything.
- No one is indispensable in a company. No one.
- Somebody's loss is someone's gain. Money shifts, doesn't "disappear".
- Wish I could turn back time to the pre-recession era --> where a 23 year old risk analyst could make a quarter million $ a year. Wish I could go to THAT life!
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.
