The corporate recruiters hire MBAs. However, median starting salaries for MBAs in the U.S. is expected to be $90,000, according to a study of corporate recruiters by the
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) published today (May 21, 2012). Reason ---> 2012 is a post-recession year. Right now, median salaries are back to their 2008 level.
(IN 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, the median starting salary has
been exactly $90,000).
However, compared to their pre-MBA salaries, GMAC said that salary data reported by
full-time two-year MBA graduates in 2012 with job offers showed an 81%
increase in salary in 2012.
This blog documents my MBA student life at Ryerson University, Canada (2010-2012). It was an attempt to demystify the MBA experience, help understand MBA topics & encourage MBA wannabes. I have a Pre-MBA blog about B-School application process (and a few other blogs) as well. I used to blog actively in the past and interact with readers regularly, but life got very busy after my MBA. Good luck. Take care. Cheers! Gerry.
